1. Information We Collect

  • Account Information: Email address, name, and password when you register. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture.
  • Payment Information: Processed securely by our payment provider. We do not store your credit card details.
  • Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, IP address, browser type, and device information.
  • Content Data: Keywords, blog posts, and slideshows you create using our service.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide and maintain the service
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Generate AI-powered content (your keywords and instructions are sent to our AI provider)
  • Analyze usage to improve the product
  • Send transactional emails (verification codes, subscription updates)

3. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services for payment processing, email delivery, analytics, AI content generation, keyword research, and image search. These providers have access to your data only to perform their specific functions and are obligated not to disclose or use it for other purposes.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. AI-Generated Content

Your input (keywords, URLs, instructions) is sent to our AI provider to generate blog posts and slideshows. We do not use your content to train AI models. Our AI provider's data usage is governed by their own privacy policy.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. Our analytics provider uses cookieless tracking. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on servers in Finland and protected with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted to authorized systems only.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data (posts, slideshows, keywords) is permanently deleted.

8. Your Rights

You may at any time:

  • Access, update, or delete your personal data
  • Export your content
  • Delete your account (Settings → Danger Zone)
  • Contact us to request data portability

9. Children

Slidio is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes

We may update this policy and will notify you via email for material changes.
